When snipers target East Indians across the US, FBI agent Lothar Marburn is brought in to solve the case.
As Lothar gets to know Indians, their stories of illusory elephant, man-eater tiger, karmic indifference, and confusion about assimilation open new ways of thinking for him. Nisha, a woman straddling two cultures, tugs his heart.
To deter Lothar, when the snipers attack him and his friends, the battle becomes personal. Driven by revenge, Lothar pursues the perpetrators across the country and ultimately to Mumbai, India.
When Lothar unravels the conspiracy, he also finds himself against an unexpected but formidable opponent – his past.
Will Lothar prevail or his past?
